GCHA Housing Surgeries – Your Voice Matters
Following the success of our recent Housing Surgeries, we’re continuing to offer these valuable events across our estates. We’ve had a fantastic response from residents so far, with many saying how helpful it’s been to speak directly with our team, share concerns, and get the support they need in a relaxed, face-to-face setting.
What are Housing Surgeries?
Housing Surgeries are your opportunity to sit down with GCHA staff one-on-one and discuss any housing-related issues that matter to you. Whether it’s repairs, tenancy support, estate concerns, or something you’re just not sure who to speak to about – we’re here to listen and help.
This is separate from our Estate Inspections. The focus is on you – your home, your concerns, and how we can support you directly.
What can I expect?
- A chance to speak privately with GCHA staff
- Advice and support on a range of housing and tenancy matters
- Quick follow-up where possible, or next steps agreed there and then
- Additional support from other agencies if needed (such as local Police or PCSOs)
Why attend?
Residents who’ve attended previous surgeries told us they felt listened to, supported, and more connected with what’s happening on their estate. It’s a great way to raise concerns, get things moving, and be part of shaping your community.
