Paying rent – Let’s make it as easy as possible

The easiest way to pay your rent is by setting up a Direct Debit. Most people pay their rent this way. However, some of our residents pay their rent by standing order, All Pay, bank transfer, or Barclaycard.

We are moving away from ‘All Pay’ payments so please speak to GCHA staff so that we can help you set up a Direct Debit to make rent payments easy to manage.

How to set up a Direct Debit

Please contact us at general@gcha.org.uk or call us. We will send you a secure form via Docusign to complete and sign.

Support with rent payments

If you need support to pay your rent or had a change of circumstances which will make it difficult to pay your rent, please speak to us as early as possible, so that we can offer advice and support either directly or refer you to the right agency that can offer support during this time.

It’s important you get in touch as soon as you think you might not be able to make a rent payment. This is because if you fall into rent arrears, you could be a risk of losing your home.

Please check your tenancy agreement to find out whether you need to be making rent payments weekly or monthly in advance.
