From mid-June to September, there’s going to be a huge range of exciting events on the pier. Pop-up on the Pier brings the historic Gravesend Town Pier to life with a lively programme of free, family-friendly activities. Enjoy live music, dance, arts and crafts, interactive games, and performances, perfect for all ages.

Whether you’re looking for a fun day out with the kids or just want to soak up the atmosphere along the riverside, there’s something for everyone this summer.

Head to Gordon Promenade for this free, family-friendly festival running from 11am to 6pm, with live tribute acts and a headline performance from Sonique at 7pm.

Get moving this summer with free fitness sessions in local parks, thanks to GCLL Active Now. From April to September, you can take part in friendly, instructor-led sessions. All sessions are suitable for all fitness levels, just turn up and join in!

Park Life at Cyclopark – Tuesday 29 July 2025

Join us at Cyclopark in Gravesend on 29 July from 11 am to 3 pm for Park Life, a free family-friendly event with boxing tasters, crazy golf, laser tag, face painting, live music, and more. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments and toilets available. No booking needed—just turn up and enjoy!

Join sessions at Gravesend Library, held every Wednesday at 10:30am for story time at the library.
