Have Your Say!

At GCHA, we believe residents should have a meaningful voice in shaping the homes and services we provide.

Our Resident Engagement Strategy 2026–2029 sets out how we will strengthen communication, create more opportunities for residents to get involved and make sure your feedback leads to positive improvements.

We want every resident to feel informed, listened to and able to influence decisions that affect their home and community.

Why is the Resident Engagement Strategy Important?

Our strategy focuses on six key priorities:

  • Strengthening resident voice: Giving you more opportunities to influence decisions and help shape our services.
  • Encouraging wider participation: Making it easier for residents of all backgrounds and circumstances to get involved.
  • Improving transparency: Providing clear information about our services, performance and decisions.
  • Learning from feedback: Using your views, complaints and satisfaction surveys to identify where improvements are needed.
  • Making engagement accessible: Offering a range of ways to get involved, both online and offline.
  • Showing the difference: Measuring the impact of resident engagement and sharing the improvements made as a result.

We want to work closely with residents to make sure our services reflect what matters most to you.

Why Your Feedback Matters

Your feedback helps us understand what we’re doing well and where we need to improve.

Whether you take part in a survey, attend a resident event, join our Resident Engagement Panel or simply share your views, your experiences help shape our priorities and decisions.

We are committed to listening to residents and making sure your feedback contributes to meaningful improvements across our homes and services.

How We Will Use Your Feedback

We want you to see how your views make a difference.

As part of our strategy, we will:

  • Use resident feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with our Resident Engagement Panel to review feedback and discuss proposed changes.
  • Involve residents in reviewing policies, services and future priorities.
  • Share updates through our newsletters, website and other communication channels.
  • Strengthen our You Said, We Did approach to show what actions have been taken following resident feedback.
