Bob joined GCHA as Interim Chief Executive in January 2026, bringing with him decades of leadership experience in the housing sector. His role is to ensure GCHA continues to run smoothly day to day, delivers excellent services to residents, and remains compliant with all legal, regulatory, and financial responsibilities. Bob also works closely with the Board, helping to shape long-term strategy and ensure GCHA remains a strong and resident-focused organisation.

Bob’s passion lies in improving services for residents, listening to their feedback, and ensuring every home is safe, secure, and well-maintained.

A qualified surveyor by background, Bob has held senior executive roles for over 35 years, including 14 years as Chief Executive at Town and Country Housing and 5 years as an Executive Director at Peabody. Since stepping back from full-time work in 2024, Bob has taken on several important roles, including chairing two housing associations and serving as a parish councillor in his local village.

Outside of work, Bob is deeply involved in his local community, from chairing planning committees to volunteering alongside his wife. They love spending time with their three children, four grandchildren, and their dog. Bob is also a lifelong rugby fan, still attending matches at his local club.
