Why is the Resident Engagement Strategy Important?

The strategy explains how we will:

  • Make sure residents have a meaningful voice in shaping services
  • Improve communication and transparency
  • Meet regulatory standards and strengthen accountability
  • Use feedback to improve service delivery continuously
  • Ensure engagement is inclusive and accessible to everyone

This is about more than consultation; it’s about working in partnership with you to improve your homes, your services, and your overall experience with GCHA.

Why Your Feedback Matters

Your feedback helps us understand what we’re doing well and where we need to improve. It ensures our priorities reflect what matters most to you and allows us to make informed decisions that improve service quality, communication, and responsiveness.

By sharing your views, you are helping to shape the future direction of GCHA and ensuring we remain accountable, transparent, and focused on delivering services that meet your needs.

What Will GCHA Do With Your Feedback?

All feedback received during the consultation period will be:

  • Reviewed and considered before the strategy is finalised
  • Used to refine priorities, actions and performance measures
  • Shared with the Board and Resident Engagement Panel
  • Reflected in future “You Said, We Did” updates, so you can see how your views have influenced decisions

Consultation Period

The Resident Engagement Strategy will be open for consultation for two weeks. Please send your feedback to general@gcha.org.uk and include “Resident Engagement Strategy, Consultation Feedback” in the subject line of your email so we can ensure your response is correctly logged and reviewed as part of the consultation.
